I installed this update on July 30th (KB867801) and it
still says I should install it. It shows it installed in
my installation history, but it still says I should
download it. Ever since downloading it, I get a bad image
box for ddl c:/program files/common
files/dell/eusw/ddsm.dll is not a valid windows image.
Can anyone help me.It is driving me crazy. What did I do?

Thanx,
Karen

I am having the same issue with a compaq desk pro I had to wipe my system and
reload and I have done this several times now and it still says I need to DL
service pack1 but I have it on my system, it does not show up in DxDiag and
when I do download it now every single time I lose my desktop. Any help would
be appreciated.

I am having similar issues with a copaq deskpro also after several wipes of
my complete system I try to download sp1 now and every single time I lose my
desktop. My intel chipset and bios both are updated, I run a radeon 9800 Pro
256mb video card, 768 rambus EEC ram and more this is the only issue I seem
to have on my pc and it is with SP1.
