Keep your Macintosh software up to date as well as your Windows side of the
house?
I'd like to say it surprises me when people neglect their Macintoshes in
terms of upgrades/updates - but it doesn't.
You say you searched - but one has to ask, "What words did you use?"
Now is a great time to point you to one of the easiest ways to find
information on problems you may be having and solutions others have found:
Search using Google!
http://www.google.com/
(How-to:
http://www.google.com/intl/en/help/basics.html )
Searching for:
Windows XP SP3 Macintosh
http://www.google.com/search?q=Windows+XP+SP3+Macintosh
First hit:
http://support.apple.com/downloads/B...for_Windows_XP
"Important: Installation of Boot Camp 2.1 is required before installing
Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3)"
Second hit:
http://www.apple.com/downloads/macos...windowsxp.html
"Important: Installation of Boot Camp 2.1 is required before installing
Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3)"
Essentially - known problem with your Macintosh software. Please update
your Macintosh software to remedy your issue that it is causing with your
Windows installation/service pack install.
Hope that helps!
