They use the same number for the 32 bit and 64 bit versions.

You could look at the stuff it fixes and decide if you must have it.
Whether you want it or not, try getting rid of it through Add or Remove
programs or System Restore. If that works, then either mark it "don't
show me this update again" when it's offered, or if you download it
from the above link know which you've got - Vista x86 or Vista x64.
