The last few times I've been to windows update, I notice that it is prompting
me to download updates from over a year ago, when I know I have them already.
I have downloaded most of them ago, but am drawing the line at XP Service
pack 1. I know I have it already, and the installation history on the site
even indicates I downloaded it in August 2003. How do I get Windows Update
to recognize which updates I actually have on my computer? I haven't
re-formatted it or re-installed windows or anything.
