Update for Windows Live Photo Gallery KB 946486 fail

I cannot update this fix on my Windows XP system. My system have Windows
Live Gallery installed. Can any friend tell me how to solve this problem?

Make sure you’re not still running the BETA - manually upgrade to the final
release build -

I hzve tried to uninstall Windows Live Photo Gallery and reinstall it
manually. The version is still the same. And I stil experience fasiled
update KB 946486. Help please

OK. After manual uninstall and manual reinstall, the update finally work!

I've installed, uninstalled, removed Photo Gallery, reinstalled as suggested,
and I am still unable to install the update. Keep getting the Error Code:
0x6B9

Reminds me of the mid 80s - install, reinstall ad nauseam
