Update for Windows Media Player for Windows XP (KB939683).

XP SP2. All critical updates in place. Windows Media Player 11.05.5721.5230.

This Update is downloaded but will not install. Message: 'The following
updates were not installed - KB939683.' No error code displayed.

I don't believe this update to be important but the installation tries to
proceed at each re-boot and is becoming an irritant. Any suggestions please
to either make the update install or premanently block it?

Can you download it and install manually with WMP11 closed?
