update wont install anymore.

i reloaded windows and did all my drivers and put my antivirus on . i did all
the updates, it started with sp3 then worked its way through the rest. but,
now i upgraded to windows media player 11 and now it says theres a security
update so i downloaded it and it says install fail! and now theres a windows
update for a security patch and it wont work either?.

Updates are not installed successfully from Windows Update, from Microsoft
Update, or by using Automatic Updates after you repair a Windows XP
installation:
