My pc was working GREAT before I updated to SP2, After
the installation, the pc freezes while loading the
startup. Now, I try to unistall SP2 without any sucess, I
lost the graphics driver, etc. so, I decide to reinstall
XP. My computer works like new but, if I register the
product, again the computer freezes after it is rebooted
(only with my internet connection set, without any update
or software). so, reinstalled again (even I re-format the
HD)with internet working without doing the registration.
Any ideas?

Don't know why you're having problem but NO license is required to update
from XP to SP1 then SP2. In fact, SP1 is not required to install SP2.

No need to buy anything just because you update.
How did you reinstall windows XP?
Clean Installation or Repair Installation?
If you have freezing issues even after reinstalling SP-2, you may have
a hard drive failure that happened to go bad at this time.,
Go to the website of the hard drive manufacturer and get the hard
drive diagnostics.
