In IE, go to the Tools menu and select Internet Options.
Click on the Advanced tab.
Scroll down to the Multimedia section and make sure the box "Show Pictures" is
ticked.
For SP2 check:-
Open your Outlook Express, Go to Tools, then Options
Click on the "Security Tab" at the top
.. Make sure that you choose "Internet Zone".
.. Uncheck "Block images and other external content in HTML email (not
recommended but up to you).
.. You should leave "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could
potentially be a virus" - but that's entirely up to you.
Click "APPLY" and "OK"
Click on the "READ" Tab at the top. Make sure you uncheck "Read all messages in
plain text"
Click "APPLY" and "OK"
