updates 6/13/08 now, no network

      06-13-2008
The newest updates installed but now it shows no network on the taskbar ( a
red X thru it) but everything is working fine. Why is my network no longer
showing???

Windows version? What updates were installed? Are you running a Norton
application?

> Vista Ultimate; SP2, all updates are installed. No Norton. After 2 resets, the network shows again. Don't know why, but the problem just went away by itself. Maybe something didn 't catch on the first reset but got it on the second one.
