Updates all fail with sp2

Tried to udate Windows, fails with msg 'unable to verify winudate.inf" also
get error codes "0x80070017" "0x8007f0da" any help would be appr.

I too seem to be having the same issue on a windows 2003 sbs while trying to
install SP2. I followed the document you list here.

I'm still having the same issue. Does this mean server 2003 has to be
reinstalled?

I have just tried the suggestion below, recommended by Bob ((leanin'
cedar)
in a previous email on this site (see Joe Medford - 8.10.07) - it worked.

1. Click on Start and then click Run,
2. In the open field type "REGSVR32 WUAPI.DLL" (without quotation marks) and
press Enter.
3. When you receive the "DllRegisterServer in WUAPI.DLL succeeded" message,
click OK.
4. Please repeat these steps for each of the following commands:
REGSVR32 WUAUENG.DLL
REGSVR32 WUAUENG1.DLL
REGSVR32 ATL.DLL
REGSVR32 WUCLTUI.DLL
REGSVR32 WUPS.DLL
REGSVR32 WUPS2.DLL
REGSVR32 WUWEB.DLL............................HTH, s

Thank you for the quick response but I am still having the same issues. I've
tried installing the exe of service pack 2 and I get the "cannot verify the
integrity of update.inf" and if I try and install it through the windows
update site it starts to download and fails. Any other ideas would be much
apprecaited.

can any one help me had my husbands mp3 player working my computer went down
and I had to do a total restore on it I had to reinstall sp2 on it and now my
computer does not install it i get the error message the required section was
not found in the INF any help would be appriciated
