updates changed the resolution

This makes me mad, today I did the windows (vista home basic) recommended
update and it changed the resolution to something like 600 X 600.
I could not fix it so I went to a previous restore point to fix it.

Yes, same thing here. I notice it's been removed from the list of available
updates now. What a piece of ****ing ****. Use system restore and choose a
restore point before the upgrade....

You know, I want to like Vista. After all, I paid for the ****ing thing.
But it just CONTINUALLY disappoints. ****ing rubbish.
