Updates dont install automatically

I just got my WSUS server set up and I actually have 2 issues. Everything
seems to work fine and install fine, but what I am not sure of is whether or
not there is an option to have the client updates install automatically.
Here is the situation: There were 7 updates needed by my test machine, so I
scheduled the updates to be installed and when I came in this morning I had a
yellow shield in my system tray saying that updates were ready to be
installed. Once I opened it and clicked install now they installed fine.
Can this beahvior be changed to allow the installs to be done without user
intervention?
Problem number 2.....I thought that I could have all updates download
automatically after synchronization. Is this also not true? I wanted all
critical and security updates to be downloaded and set for install
automatically, but it seems as though I need to approve these updates before
they are downloaded.
As always, any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Chris

If you are using WSUS:
Be advised that WSUS issues should be posted to the newsgroup
microsoft.public.windows.server.update_services
