Updates I don't want.

I keep getting reminded by the automatic updating that I have updates.
Many of them lately have been for Office which I don't have. How do I
get rid of these from the list of updates? They don't go away.

I only want to get rid of the ones that I don't want to install as they
hang around on the list of upates to be installed. Thanks.

Click on the plus sign to expand the update and click on the "hide"
checkbox.

If you're being told about automatic updates for MS Office then you
actually do have something installed that is part of/from Office even if
you don't know it.

I do have the Office Power Point Viewer and the Word Viewer so that must
be it.
