The past three weeks, every few hours our email program (Eudora) times out
while trying to contact our cable server. There is no problem at the server
end. Our internet connection continues to work just fine. We've looked for
a pattern and it seems that the problem reasserts itself every time Windows
Update runs. The only way we can solve the problem is by running System
Restore...and this works for only a few hours, till an update occurs again.
We have tried updating our email program and changing it to a different
program but this doesn't solve the problem. Has anyone else experienced
this? Is there a solution? We are desperate and frustrated!
