Hi,
I recently installed these updates and my laptop rebooted per usual.
However, when my laptop restarted the Welcome screen displayed "Owner"
instead of my usual user account name and requested a password.
The problem is that I never had a password on my old user account. Now
I can't get into my system.
I've tried rebooting in safe mode, using CTRL-ALT-DEL to change from
"Owner" to "Administrator" leaving the password blank and got in,
however, I have no access privileges and cannot change the owner
password, restore the system to a previous date or delete the upgrades.
I'm running Windows XP Home SP2 on a HP ze5375us notebook.
Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
