I am still continue to get the "error message" from the "Live Update ENGINE
COM MODULE"
but as I said did "update" "manually" OK -
The "adminstrator" who reads these messages, would you please check this out
??
I get the message each time the "automatic updater" trys to update and that
is pretty frequent and MOST annoying as I am working from home!!
Thanks

I have no idea who you are talking to but as regards this message - by any chance do you
have Symantec installed?

As this is a Symantec "Live Update" message I assumed you had Norton's installed on your
computer. Sorry I made that assumption, you obviously do not have Norton's installed on
your computer so something else is causing the message similar to Nortons.

I do not know why a Norton's message is coming up when you don't have the program
installed. It's not WU related.

| Has nothing to do with Symantec - when the PC trys to do the window's update

Has that computer ever had any Norton/Symantec products?
Live Update is not a Windows component.
Live Update is a Norton/Symantec message or possibly applies to other
3rd party software.

Is that the EXACT error in your post?
Google does not find anything, typical for a misquote.
