swhen i try to a update for windows media player10 it tells me it was not
succesfull in the updates anyone know what to to

WMP10-KB892313 updates to version 3901
WMP10-KB888656 updates to version 3923
WMP10-KB911565 updates to version 3990
WMP10-KB912452 updates to version 3993
WMP10-KB911565-V2 updates to version 4019

Try downloading the updates themslves rather than letting WMP do it
automatically.

Does KB911565-V2 include all the stuff in the previous updates?

Can you explain why all of the updates are required?

Seems to me, that if KB911565-V2 updates MP to 4019, then wouldn't it "by
definition" include the other previous updates?
Are you saying that even if I were to use this update to 4019, I would have
to go and use earlier updates to 3901, 2923, 3990 and 3993?
