Updates Not being distributed

Good Day all,

My WSUS 2.0 is working quite well. I use GP to configure the computer on
my network. My GP indicates that the updates should be downloaded and
info the users that its time to install.

Now here's the "problem". I notice that I have not seen the update icon
of late on the machines and when I check the WSUS, I notice that a lot
of workstations have a lot of updates needed, and I can't see any reason
why they are not being sent down to the machines for updating.

I just ran the wsusutil and wsusdebugtool on my WSUS server. I have also
setup my login script to do a wuauclt /detectnow on all the machines on
logon, but I'm still having machines with updates tagged as needed.

Can anyone suggest how I should go about solving this issue.

Thanks.

It would be best to ask this here:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof...pdate_services

Since you're reading this with Thunderbird the link will not work but,
at least you can subscribe to
microsoft.public.windows.server.update_services

WSUS 3.0 Released Monday, April 30th 2007
