XP sp2 would not boot so I reinstalled XP over the existing installation.
then I went to microsoft updates to reinstall all the patches. It will
download the patches but will not install any of them including the defender
definitions. Computer is member of domain. Automatic updates is set in
control panel but all choices are greyed out so I can't change them.

What do I need to do to get fully patched?
