Updates will not install in XP SP2

The downloads from WU fail to install. I have looked at the log and this is
what is shows:
Handler FATAL: UH: 0x80070002: Unpack failed

GenerateDownloadRequest failed with 0x80070002.
2007-01-06 10:25:08 1300 a64 DnldMgr Error 0x80070002 occurred while
downloading update; notifying dependent calls.
2007-01-06 10:25:08 2328 904 DtaStor Update service properties: service
registered with AU is {7971F918-A847-4430-9279-4A52D1EFE18D}
