Through automatic updates, Windows downloaded patches for several products:
Windows Defender, Office 2003, Outlook 2003, Visio 2003 Notes, and promted
for installation.
I installed one by one, recieving error messages, that the updates could not
be installed.
Tried to manually download the update for Defender (through help/updates),
with the same result.
Looking at the "review your update history" link in the Microsoft Update
website, the updates appear as failed, error code 0x517.
What should I do?
