Updates Not Retained

I am trying to download critical updates for 98SE. I downloaded several
critical updates on Monday and everything looked fine. On Tuesday, I went to
the site to see if there were any critical updates needed and all of the ones
I loaded earlier were listed. I downloaded them again and this morning when I
checked the site, the same thing happened. Why isn't the system retaining the
updates?

Rusty,

Check in Add/Remove Programs to determine if they installed
successfully. Some causes of install failures are a not doing the
required rebooting and interference by 3rd party software
( especially, Antivirus software )

Please state specifically which updates you're attempting to install.
