Updates only reach 11% and then stop

We are running a SUS Server on the network and workstations are updating from
the SUS Server, but some of the workstation (particularly mine) is beginning
the download of critical updates and when it reaches 11%, stops.

I am currently running XP Pro SP2 on my machine and am running a pretty
standard build of Xp with no additional firewalls, etc.

Is there a hotfix to apply to fix this problem or is it a setting somewhere
in the registry or config file?
