updates for sleep mode?

What updates effected power saving(sleep) mode?Ever since the last round of
updates my sleep mode never comes out without long pauses. Programs (stop
responding) & shut-down hangs,never completing.This happens every time I use
sleep mode. Machine responds normally as long as I do not use sleep. So I
want to uninstall the latest update that "Fixed" my sleep mode.

I know there are several sleep related issues addressed in the upcoming SP1,
but have no idea when we might see a final version of that. Personally, I've
seen somewhat better sleep behaviour, but I've mostly stopped using sleep in
favour of hibernation. Uses less energy when it's hibernated.

I have had problems with my computer comng on and off when I use sleep
mode.It does not happen all the time.I have to pull the power plug out
so I can sleep. The have been wondering what is causing it and what
can be done.So I would be interested to read the thread when you get
some responses.
