Updates? Are they installing?

Im using Windows xp home : Ive had problems installing all of the updates
after a system restore. Now after 3 days of hell, an error check on my c
drive, a lot of fixing, uninstalling nortons Internet Security 2006 and
installing it about 10 times and eventually getting all the updates and the
Nortons happily onto my pc I seem to have these 2 lingering.........KB890859
Security update win xp and KB900485 update for win xp. Ive installed them
about 15 times, mostly without realising it was the same two lol. They
install successfully but they keep on showing as critical again. Im not sure
whats going on, could someone enlighten me?
