Updates through ie7 causes double update windows

Ive had this problem where I go to the Windows update website through
Internet Explorer 7, complete the hardware and software scan, then I click on
one of the tabs on the side (i.e. Software, optional) , then imediatly
windows update website appears, but now in where the results should be,
leaving the previous tabs and headers in tact. When I click on anything in
the inner update website page, my IE7 freezes and my internet explorer
expieriences problems the rest of the day. Ive tried reinstalling Windows a
couple times, reinstalling IE, but it keeps reuccuring.
I am not sure what could cause this, but if anyone can help, please do!!

Just to let you know that you are not alone. I am also getting the same
problem as you with the Windows Update website.

I do not no why it is doing it I hope someone can help us.

I had the same problem as you. And i bypass this problem by going to the
www.windowsupdate.com website with my Netscape Navigator 8 instead of my
Internet Explorer 7.0 and it worked just fine. So the problem is definitly
within the Internet Explorer. Let's just hope Microsoft will correct that
soon...

Thank you for the Information I have now Installed Netscape Navigator 8 and
now it is working OK on Windows Update website.
