I'm testing the updates from my Windows Server Update Server. In the WSUS
Administrator Console I can view updates in the "critical" and"security"
section but when selecting the WSUS Updates section, no updates display. I
know snychronization works because my server synchronized this morning around
12:24 a.m. If someone could point me in the correct path, that would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Make sure your Approval filter and your Status filter are set correctly
(Any and Any)
That will get you every time

FYI: there is another forum for WSUS specific issues.

Right pew, wrong church. Forwarded to WSUS newsgroup
(microsoft.public.windows.server.update_services) via crosspost as a
convenience to OP.

What do you have set for Approval and Status? (Near the top left of the
right-hand pane.)

This was really helpful. I changed the Approval section to "Any Except
Declined" and the status field to "Any" and updates displayed.

Thanks for the prompt response. I set the Approval section to "Any" and the
status section "Any" and now WSUS updates display
