By updating the media information in Windows Media Player 11 the Album
information does not get written into the file anymore.
When trying to see the "Album Details" the message "Sorry but we are unable
to display the details for this album. Please try again later." appears.
Has anybody an idea about this issue - accures since 8:00 am US - Eastern
Time on the 10/12/07.

Hi RR,

I live in Brazil and it's happening to me since yesterday (10/12/07).
If you have a solution to this problem, please let me know.

Fran

I'm using XP and have the same problem when trying to view Album
Details

"Sorry, but we are unable to display the details for this album. Please
try again later."

Could it be a problem with metaservices.windowsmedia.com server?

I am using Zune on Vista(32bit) and am having the same issue. My guess
is there is a problem with the metaservices.windowsmedia.com server. I
hope they fix it soon.

I called the Microsoft help desk and the tech who helped me also had the
same problem. He thought that the metaservices.windowsmedia server
belongs to Microsoft and was going to notify that group.
