Upgrade from 2003 Std to 2003 EE

When I attempt to upgrade from Windows server 2003 std to Windows 2003 EE, I
get a message telling me that my installed version of windows is greater than
the copy on CD. The only thing I can think of is that it does have service
pack 1 installed. Could this be an issue when trying to install server 2003
EE without the service pack?

Yes, you'll have to uninstall the SP1 before upgrading.
