Upgrade to Sever 2003 R2 from 2003 SP2

Just want to clarify the process for upgrading to R2 on an active-passive
failover cluster.

Planning to upgrade r2 on passive node, simply by inserting the disks 1 and
2 and following the upgrade installation. then failover onto this node. then
upgrade the previously active put now passive node.

Is it as simple as this?

Hello pipmoore,

We did it last week on our cluster that way, but you only need disk2 for
the R2 features. And of course the correct license key. Do NOT forget to
have a backup from the server in case something fails.
