How to upgrade from Windows Server 2000 to Win XP professional

Is there a way to upgrade form Windows Server 2000 to Windows XP
proferssional ???

The Server versions of Windows cannot be upgraded "in-place" (i.e., overtop
of existing operating system, retaining existing data and settings) to XP.

So what is the recommended approach to go to Win XP Prof from Windows Server
2000?
