Upgrade to XP Pro Installation Error

I'm trying to upgrade from 2000 Pro to XP Pro. It stops and has an "Apple
Talk Protocol" error. It tells me this must be removed to proceed but
doesn't tell me how. Any ideas?

Removal of software usually requires the user to go to Control Panel >
Add/Remove Programs and then select the offending program.
