WIN XP SP3 - updated latest security - IE 6.

I have just upgraded from OE6 to Windows Live Mail.
I thought I had transferred everything from OE to WLM.
Apart from being able to open the default folders in Outlook Express [In,
Out, Draft and Delete], all the other personal folders in which I have saved
messages, are still there but they are all empty.
In WLM, I cannot find any of the these personal folders - only the MS
newsgroups show, others are not there.
I have tried to find out what I have done wrong/missed, with the help pages
on Microsoft, and I have tried within WLM - I must have missed something -
cant believe the install caused this to happen.

If I uninstall Win Live Mail, I was wondering if all these folders and
contents will be replaced/returned to OE. If not how can I get/find/recover
them.

Imported messages are under Storage folders.
Alt + V, Layout, Folder pane, check Show Storage folders.

Hello Ron
Many thanks for the help - I was pulling my hair out - worked like a charm -
at first I didn't think it had until I scrolled down.
And as a result, I have found all my newsgroups as well.
All is there - maybe in different places/layouts.
Now I can set it as default.
