Upgrading to 64 from 32-bit Vista

Is there a way to do this while keeping all of the program settings, etc.? I
am hoping I can just update Vista 32-bit to the 64-bit version - that is if
it is even worth it.

Basically, you will be looking at a clean install of Vista - so you'll loose
all your settings etc.

As to whether it's worth it .. that depends. Do you have any applications
which wil take advantage of 64 bit Windows? And do you have any DOS or 16
bit apps you still need to run ('coz they won't run, on 64 bit Windows).

I've been running 64 bit Vista since before RC1 and I'm pretty happy with
it. But that's just my experieince. Your milage may vary.

No, there is no in place upgrade from 32bit to 64bit. You can use an
upgrade version but it will be a clean install.
