Acronis has so many troubles of their own that I don't know that
transferring development to Symantec could be any worse. I don't recall
an upgrade in the entire industry in the last 20 years, Vista included,
that had as many bugs as TI9. I skipped it entirely. Because of some
functionality problems, I was "forced" to get the TI10 upgrade, and it's
been problem-free, so far. Also, Acronis Tech Support is very involved
with the user forums on their site, and that's something you certainly
don't see with other companies (Corsair being the exception that comes
to mind).
