Upgrading from Vista Premium to Ultimate

Hello,
I upgraded from Vista Home premium to Vista Ultimate in order to change
the language of my operating system from Japanese to English. I bought
this laptop here in Japan where I am studying.

I trought an upgrade will not reset my user accounts but it did,
and it didnt load up with my previous registry nor my drivers for my
envidia and intel graphic cards(the model vaio vgn sz55b/b , has 2)
finger print reader, web cam, card reader, and other feautures.

I have tried all I could think to install these drivers on my own with
no sucess. Seems like Sony dont want me to upgrade.

I was thinking... Since my old user account is still there, with all
its files. Is there any way I can import my old user account, or his
registry, which I had on HOME PREMIUM, to my actual ULTIMATE version of
Windows?

I'm not really sure but you can see your older files at Windows.old folder if
you have one.
