Upgrading an XP Home Upgrade to Vista

I upgraded from Win98 to Win XP Home with a retail XP Home upgrade cd. I was
able to do a clean install by just introducing the Win 98 cd when doing the
install with the XP Home Upgrade cd. I am now wondering how this will work
with a Vista Upgrade. Can I do a clean install with the Vista upgrade disk
and if so will I need to introduce both the Win98 cd(which I do not have) and
the XP Home upgrade disk(which I do have) during the install with the Vista
Home upgrade disk.

Hi there,

Make a clean insttall: Install vista as a trial, then after install choose
upgrade and enter your license that way your upgrade version will work like
a full version, if it is legal I do not know but it works.
