Upgrading xp to Vista Home Premium

After the installation process, Vista boot is crashes with error code
0xc0000098. Says NETFLT.SYS file is missing or corrupted. Did not work any
possibilties of reduced boot

And your Windows *Update* (not Upgrade) problem is...?

So I'm quite sure that I know the difference between upgrade and update..
after 51 years...

Your help was wery usefull, but I dont know for who, but it is not in
accordace with my question.

Try posting to microsoft.public.windows.vista.general newsgroup instead,
Ian. Your query doesn't appear to have anything to do with Windows Update.
If "after the installation process" refers to installing updates, please say
so and tell us what update(s) you'd installed.
