URGENT: Desktop Unlock

I did a right-click on my desktop, then chose "Arrange Icons by>Lock Web
Items on Desktop." Now I cannot see any icons on my desktop, nor will any
programs start from the Start Menu. How can I reverse what I did and be able
to function again? Please help!
