Hi all.

I have a problem hope some one could help.
TOday when i swtiched on my computer it gave a message" Set autocad a
default by mistake i pressed ok...But now all the programs in th
computer are default autocad!..even the set default program in contro
panel also opens in autocad ..everything ms word..interne
explorer...everything...Plz can anyone help...!!!or is it any kind o
virus...?

Hello Fudge

See if doing a System Restore, with Method Two in the tutorial below
and using a restore point dated before this problem can fix it for you

thanks shawn for so early reply but the thing is i am not having vista
installation dvd presently with me....is there anyother method that i
can dooo....
any help?

u can restore ur system by goin in bios and restorin at a previo
date.try it..

sorry as i am too bad in computers..can u explain how to do it...coz ve
i tried restore..from the start recovery...it just shows me 3 days bac
date..so i was scared to restore as i had saved many files with in thes
3 days...or can anyone tell me tht will restore remove the save
files....???? or if i change the date of the computer will the settin
change accordingly to previous date

The BIOS has nothing to do with it.

Restoring your computer to ANY date will not effect your data files,
so anything you've downloaded and saved will still be saved.

Do NOT change the date on your computer. It has nothing to do with
System Restore.

But it's a good idea to backup data anyway - stuff happens!

Windows System Restore is not located in BIOS, I suspect you mean System
Recovery Environment. The OP would probably have to invoke that based on
some Function command provided by the OEM, usually F11 or F10.
