<microsoft.com> in one of the pages rendered when using the the WGA
Diagnostics at the following URL

http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/diag/

shows a "link" to the Windows Genuine Advantage Newsgroup.

Unfortunately that fails all over the place, and you can only seem to
get there, if at all, through <msn.com>

I can't find a listing for the supposed WGA Newsgroup (to pose my
original question, and hopefully get an answer) at <msnews.microsoft.com>.

Is there none?

What gives?

No one seems to want to tell me, including Microsoft Canada's own
Technical Support Service Personnel (on the phone) whether in fact
Windows'2000 is still supported for validation by WGA, or not.

I have three machines which until a week ago were validated and
accepting downloads from Microsoft Update just fine; but, since a
re-install of the OS on all three machines (because of a brown-out and
complete power failure) which corrupted all three machines, only one of
them continues to be validated, and that only because I was able to
recover, and import the original Registry Hives from the prior install.
