USB 2.0 Adaptec Dual Processor Question

I am running a Dual Processor Intel chip with usb 1.1 on the motherboard with
XP Pro and Service Pack. I just purchase a DuoConnect from Adaptec that has
4 USB 2.0 ports. Adaptec will not support USB 2.0 drivers with a system
running Dual Processor and the DuoConnect card. (not sure why)
http://ask.adaptec.com/

1. What are the latest USB 2.0 drivers that microsoft has?

2. How do I tell if my adaptec duoconnect card is running the latest USB 2.0
drivers (I know I have to go to device manager, but it does not tell the
difference between 1.1 and 2.0).

3. Is there a way to download the latest 2.0 drivers from Microsoft's
website and manually update to device or is the only way to actually obtain
the drivers is through windows update?

4. Because I have two on board usb 1.1 ports on my computer, how can I tell
the difference in the device manager between the usb 1.1 ports and the usb
2.0 ports?

Thanks for the info, do you know how to tell the difference between USB 1.1
and 2.0 drivers for Microsoft?

What are the latest USB 2.0 drivers that microsoft offers? Version number and
date created is what I am looking for to make sure that indeed I have 2.0
drivers.

Thanks,

Steven

One more thing...the reason that I am wanting to know which driver is what
and version number etc, is because I want to remove the supposed 2.0 drivers
that installed with the adaptec card from my computer and then run the latest
windows update to make sure it is installed.

Because as of now, I read many articles that says I can only get the latest
usb 2.0 drivers from the windows update page.

Thanks again for any help,

Steven
