error 80004005; can not create video capture filter
after installing SP 2
The error in this case related to the firewire port.
Any program (capture/editing) locked up when started.
Even the Microsoft MovieMaker stalled.
The error was given with vidcap32.exe.
I uninstalled SP 2 and everything was working again.
Now I am waiting for Microsoft to update the update.
