Thanks for your advice. The drive does not come with any software. The
software needs to download from their website but those relate to
password-protected pc, encrypt file. I tried to format the entire drive in
Fat32 in a pc running Windows XP. It does not help the issue.
I checked your suggested link that fixes to the USB device after hiberation.
My issue seems related to drive reconginiation, not hiberation. I guess the
drivers in Vista OS does not have one for my drive while XP has. This is
not my first time to encounter this issue and my last time it happened on a
flash drive that I bought before Vista luanched. It works on many pcs of
Windows XP without any problem. It seems illogical but it leads the
customers to think in this direction.
