A few months ago my 1GB LG USB drive stopped working. Message said "USB
Device Not Recognized. One of the USB devices attached to this computer has
malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it. For assistance in solving
this problem, click this message."

Well, I went through the troubleshooting procedure and could not get it to
fix.
I was going to return it to LG for a replacement when I checked it about 3
weeks ago it worked fine.

Yesterday I went to backup some files and the error has returned.

Is this an issue caused by an update gone bad? Is microsoft aware of this?

Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
