USB flash drive in Vista

When I try to use a USB Flash drive in a Dell Laptop with Vista, the computer
asks for drivers. When I use the same USB Flash drive in two other Vista
machines, drivers are not asked for. The Dell Laptop powers up the drive but
it does not show up in window explorer. How do I get the flash drives to
work with Vista ultimate?

Open Control Panel, Device Manager, highlight each USB Root Hub device,
Action menu, "Uninstall", (do Not put a check in 'delete driver") then
Action menu,"scan for hardware changes", to find the device drivers again
automatically.
