usb ports not working

Can anyone help me to get my usb ports working again. I have tried
everything and still they do not recognize anything that I plug into them.
Please help. I can't use my printer or get my pictures from my digital
camera. I have tried every port and none of them work. I have gone through
the troubleshooter and it sent me to "windows update" for help. They worked
until a week or two ago. Thanks.

The problem lies with the USB controller. It does not work propely with 2.0
support turned on on the BIOS.

Microsoft just released a new USB update.

If the update does not work, turn off suppport for 2.0, or download this
update. This should take car eof the problem.
