Hi all,

I have a parallel port and a USB port printer on my Vista system. Both works
locally. I'm sharing both on the a local network. I've add both printers as
resources to my Win 7 System. The parallel port printer works great. But the
USB print can not contact the Vista system to print a job.

I'm puzzled?

Sincerely,
King

Hi
I ran the printer fix it program on both computers.
No Errors were detected on the parent Vista system.

However, the program failed during the connection phase on the
Windows 7 system...
and stated: Can not fix please contact the administrator.
The printer shows up as a network sharing resource and printer
status "Ready".

All I can suggest is to uninstall and reinstall the printer.
