USB serial controller

I bought a knockoff Nokia usb cable and can't install drivers on the
USB serial controller in my device manager. I think i'm crewed but
thought I would ask if there is help. {PL2303 Prolic} from cellshop

Sorry, but I don't get the connection between the cable and the drivers.
There really shouldn't be any connection. What error messages are you
seeing, and when do you see them?
